Mascara

Mascara is so hard to find . I have tried over 9 and I still did not find the right one until I tried Maybelline's One by One , L'Oreal Voluminous , Revlon Lash Fantasy Total Definition Water Proof , Elf Waterproof Lengthening & Volumizing Mascara . First my favorite is  L'Oreal

The Review

Well lets do what they have in common and not in common first !

In common

  • Flake
  • smear
  • clump
  • nice brush
Not in common
  • the brush type
  • the outcome
  • the look
  • the type of style it gives
So they are pretty much in common but I hate when it says waterproof and it still flakes ! The prettiest case is the L'Oreal Voluminous mascara that's about it the others are ugly LOL! The only one different is the Revlon . It has a primer and the mascara but to be honest ... the primer makes no difference it sucks! Maybelline's case is red and a light blue . It is nice but , the brush is too easy to bend . The Elf one  is plain and dose not do much ... I have it in dark brown well ha ha it is just as worse as the Revlon ! The ones with the most similar brush would be the Revlon and the L'Oreal although they apply different the L'Oreal one is a little bit more thicker . I have noticed that most of the mascara's in the Maybelline or Revlon lines apply the same though try it !

Sunset

Hey guys so on my blog I am going to start posting my looks ! I went to mac recently and bought Chrome Yellow and Orange . I also bought a pigment and lipstick! I decided to do a look using Mac shadows in Chrome Yellow , Orange , and the pigment Fuchsia To achieve this look you will need the following:

1.Mac eye shadow in Chrome Yellow
2.Mac eye shadow in Orange
3.Mac pigment  in Fuchsia
4. Mac Paint Pot in Painterly
5. Mac 217 (brush)
6.Mac 239 ( brush)
7.Mac 231 (brush)
8.Mac lipstick Speed Dial

First with your ring finger apply Mac paint pot in Painterly . Next grab your 239 and start packing on Chrome Yellow in a patting motion . After you will need to get your 217 and now go into the color "Orange" and in a windshield motion apply it into the crease and blend it a bit into the yellow. Now open your pigment and with a wet 231 brush underneath the eye apply it . Now take Mac lipstick in Speed Dial and you have complete the look good luck !

Valentine

On Valentines day I would do this! I was inspired by the pigment that I bought . To achieve this look you will need the following:
1. Mac pigment in Fuchsia
2. Mac 217 (brush)
3. Mac Gesso
4. Mac Paint Pot in Painterly
5. Mac 239 (brush)
6. Mac Speed Dial ( lipstick)

First I put on Mac paint pot in Painterly with my ring finger all over my lid . Next I grabbed my 239 to apply the color "gesso" which is the white . In a patting motion I applied Gesso . Next I took my 217 and wet my brush then dipped it into the pigment , Wetting the brush will create a more foiled look . I blended the pigment into my crease and blended it in a windshield motion . Next I lightly lined my eyes and used Mac Speed Dial lipstick and there you go a Valentines day look good luck !

On Halloween I would do this! At first it was suppose to be a fairy . Instead it turned into looking like a Peacock. To achieve this look you will need the following:

1. Nyx pigment in Turquoise
2. Mac 231 (brush)
3. Maybelline Color Explosion pallet in Amethyst Ablazed
4. Mac Paint Pot in Painterly
5. Maybelline Twisty Liner ( cinnabun)
6. Mac eye shadow in Gesso

First apply Mac paint pot in Painterly with your ring finger all over the lid . Next grab your 231 brush . Pick up the color "Gesso" and in a patting motion pack on the white . Now we have one third of the look done! Next go onto the Maybelline color Explosion Pallet in Amethyst Ablazed and take the third purple at the bottom of the pallet with a 231 and in a windshield motion blend it a little bit into the white and do not blend the color all the way up . After you have completed that now go into Nyx pigment in Turquoise and on the top of the purple pat the turquoise over the purple without blending it . To do the laced effect I started with making a little line and then curled the liner in to make the top of a heart look. Then on the second curled liner I made a line that did the same effect . Now lets move up . From the first heart I made a line going in wards and then did the same curling sort of effect . Good luck!

Christmas Eye

On christmas I would do this! I was inspired by the blanket that is over my head. To achieve this look you will need the following:
1. Elf Complete the Look Pallet (Red)
2. Mac 217 (brush)
3. Mac Gesso
4. Mac Paint Pot in Painterly
5. Mac 239 (brush)
6. Elf Liner in Silver

First start with putting on Mac Paint Pot in Painterly on with you ring finger . Next grab your 239 brush and start packing on Mac Gesso in a patting motion . After you are done with putting on Mac Gesso now take the Elf Complete the Look Pallet and take the Mac 217 brush and blend the red into the crease in a windshield motion . The snowflake's are optional , I took the Elf Liner in Silver and first did a little line . Next I did a streak in the middle of the first line I did . After that I did one diagonal line and another diagonal line crossing the other line . Now you have completed you look!

Mega liner and H20 !

So today I am going to swatch for you Wet n Wild's Mega liner in Blue, As well as Wet n Wild's H20 waterproof liner in Black-Brown . Lets start with "Mega liner " . This stuff is smooth ! It glides on perfect and with the first streak is pigmented ! The mega liner's are also very easy to remove , so easy you can you soap and water ! The line range's in colors such as green, blue, brown, black, purple ! The waterproof liner is just as great ! They sadly did not have straight black at my local Rite-Aid but it works ! It is a little different , the brush is hard but the tip isn't . This may work better for beginners  working with a stiff guided brush . Below is a look I did with my blue liner by Wet n Wild and swatches of the two shades together !

Yellow and Purple Flower

So today I decided to do a Yellow and Purple Flower look! It was really fun to complete .

You need :

1. Mac Chrome yellow ( eye shadow )
2. Maybelline Eye studio color Explosion - Amethyst Ablazed
3. Mac 239 (brush )
4. Mac 217 ( brush
5. Mac paint pot in painterly

First apply Mac pain pot or any primer with your finger . Apply all over the lid . Next grab your 239 and dip it into Mac Chrome Yellow . You will apply this color on the lid area in a patting motion to make the color as vibrant as you want . Next take your 217 and go onto Maybelline's pallet you will dip the 217 into the 3 dark purple in the pallet to the bottom . To apply you will in a back and forth motion blend it into the yellow! I lined in dark black brown but , you can line in anything you want ! I used L'Oreal million lashes !
